Senior Backend Engineer (PHP / Laravel)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our core payments team. You will design, build, and maintain the APIs that power Paylink's transaction engine. Responsibilities: - Architect and own backend services handling high transaction volumes - Design RESTful and event-driven APIs consumed by mobile and web clients - Collaborate with the infrastructure team on reliability, caching, and performance - Mentor junior engineers and review code Requirements: - 4+ years of PHP / Laravel in production - Strong SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and Redis experience - Understanding of PCI-DSS or payment systems is a plus - Comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment
